
Born in France to a white French mother and Afro-American father, Juliette Fairley was raised in San Antonio, Texas adjacent to Lackland Air Force Base. She spent summers in France with her mother’s family. Her favorite past time growing up in Texas was climbing trees in her front yard. Her one woman show The Making of a Mulatto was reviewed in the December 29, 2009 edition of the New York Times. She is known for her principal role in Spike Lee’s tv pilot Mayor of New York (M.O.N.Y) for NBC as a tv reporter as well as series regular hosting work on the Discovery Channel for a show called Cha Ching Money Makers. Miss Fairley recently booked a recurring role in Double Cross, a SAG webisode series directed by Lydia Martinelli. Catch Juliette playing the therapist in Hey Diddle Diddle on Zillion TV and iTunes. She is a graduate of Columbia University and the author of the best selling book Cash in the City: Affording Martinis, Manolos and Manicures on a Working Girl’s Salary, published by John Wiley & Sons. In video stores, Juliette plays Pastor Vaughn in Holy Hustler distributed by Maverick Entertainment. She credits Manhattan Celebrity Acting Coaches Wynn Handman and Susan Batson for her acting chops as well as the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
